Personalized Adaptive Outdoor Recreation Experiences

Interested in learning about adaptive sports?  Do you want to get outdoors and try something new?  Adaptive Expeditions offers safe and personal adaptive sport equipment trials, fittings, and experiences during the COVID-19 Pandemic.  Participants should bring one of two family members or a friend with you to learn to ride a hand cycle, play wheelchair tennis, pickle ball, or basketball, learn to fly fish or spin cast for largemouth bass and bluegill, learn adaptive gardening techniques, enjoy one-on-one online yoga or personal training sessions, or learn archery techniques.  Adaptive Expeditions can coordinate experiences with any other activity that can be managed safely during the pandemic.  Just ask!  All programs can be made wheelchair accessible, and if needed Adaptive Expeditions will provide all-terrain wheelchairs.  All participants, instructors, and volunteers will wear face masks and keep a distance of six-feet apart.  Transfer assistance (if needed) will need to be managed by the family members or friend you bring with you.

At this time, water sports cannot be made safe for you nor for Adaptive Expeditions staff and volunteers, but if you want to learn about outfitting a kayak, paddle board, or waterski / sit-ski in preparation for the end of the COVID-19 Pandemic, we can help you get started!

To schedule any activity, please send an email to Joe@AEOutdoors.org or call Joe at (843) 637-7269

Adaptive Expeditions thanks Craig H. Neilson Foundation for financial assistance necessary to continue programs during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
