Interactive Online Yoga and Personal Training

Date/Time
Tuesday, May 26, 2020 - Friday, December 31, 2021
12:00 am

Social distancing policies necessitated by the COVID-19 Pandemic have made fitness maintenance and stress reduction activities more difficult for individuals living with disabilities.  To directly address the needs of stress reduction and fitness maintenance for both our local community and our extended network, Adaptive Expeditions invites anyone living with a disability to enjoy interactive online sessions with a certified personal trainer or adaptive yoga instructor.  You will be guided through personal training and / or yoga sessions without needing to leave your home.  Zoom.us enables real-time personal feedback and dialogue with the instructor.

You are encouraged to invite a friend, family member or caretaker to join your sessions.  You will need a cell phone, tablet, or other device with FaceTime, Zoom.us, Go To Meeting, or any another interactive communication application.  Facebook Live will not work as it is not interactive, but a one-way streaming of information.

Click here to sign an online waiver (anyone joining you for a session will also need to sign a waiver). After signing a waiver, email Natasha@AEOutdoors.org to schedule your first 1-hour session.  A certified instructor will arrange a short interview prior to your first session.

This program was made possible with a grant from Craig H. Neilsen Foundation.  The 2020 grant funds have been spent, but we are continuing to offer this service for the reduced fee of $40 per 1-hour session.  Find a few friends or family members and split the cost!  To ensure quality of instructor feedback, sessions are limited to four individuals.
