Emergency Relief Program

With Emergency Relief Funding from Craig H. Neilsen Foundation, Adaptive Expeditions has temporarily adapted its health and wellness mission to address immediate risks associated with the COVID-19 global pandemic. As recognized by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, people with mobility related disabilities have an increased risk of becoming infected, and those infections can be more severe due to a higher rate of underlying medical conditions.

If you know a person, family, or caregiver living with a mobility related disability within the Charleston Tri-County area and who has an emergency need of the services listed below, please share the information within this event post and within the 2-page flyer linked below.

• Home-delivery of groceries, personal protective equipment, or essential household supplies right to your doorstep
• Emergency repair to home access ramps or other exterior equipment
• Financial assistance to utilize CARTA’s Tel-A-Ride to essential medical services, such as trips to the doctor, pharmacy, or a durable medial hardware provider

Please read and share the two-page information flyer.
