ACA Certified Paddlesport Instructors are invited to join this four-day training to include an ACA Advanced Communications Workshop followed by an Adaptive Paddling Workshop. Both ACA Universal Paddling Instructor Endorsement courses will be held in Ithaca, New York. With funding from Move United and VA Adaptive Sports Grant Program, both courses will be provided free of charge to current ACA Instructors that are working with Move United Chapters that serve Veterans with paddlesport programs. The workshop’s host is Jen Wells, Assistant Professor at Ithaca College and ACA Stand Up Paddleboard and Kayak Touring Instructor Trainer. Jen owns the paddlesport training business, Paddle-N-More.
The 4-day workshop will be led by Joe Moore and Lora Woodward. Joe is an ACA Instructor Trainer Educator for the ACA Adaptive Paddling Program and an Instructor Trainer for the ACA Advanced Communications Program. Joe is also the Executive Director of Adaptive Expeditions.
Lora Woodward is an ACA Instructor Trainer for the Advanced Communications Endorsement, and Lora is an Instructor Trainer Candidate for the ACA Adaptive Paddling Program. Lora owns the Massachusetts based coaching business, Coach Outdoors.
