From 2:00pm – 6:00pm on March 26, Adaptive Expeditions will host an afternoon at the The Charleston Pour House featuring live music, adaptive surf films, and a raffle that includes more than $2,500 in prizes.
Charleston’s own The Bluestone Ramblers will start playing at 2:15pm and Lefty Williams Band will start around 3:30pm.
Raffle Items include a carbon and bamboo BISHOP BOARDS SUP, paddle, leash, and lock, as well as a Bellyak prone kayak. One free raffel ticket included with admission. Additional raffle tickets available onsite for $5 each.
Arcadia Publishing will release the new book, Surfing in South Carolina, at the event. Both authors will be onsite to sign books. Arcadia Publishing will donate $10 to Adaptive Expeditions for each book sold at the event.
Brock Johnson, 2015 USA Adaptive Surfing Team Member, Adaptive Surf Project leader and Wheel to Surf event coordinator, will join us and share stories of his journey to the 2015 ISA Adaptive Surfing World Championships.
Admission Tickets are $15 at the door. No advanced sales.
All proceeds will support Adaptive Expeditions’ adaptive surfing program, including purchase of adaptive surfboards and waveski, beach access wheelchairs, and other adaptive surfing equipment.
