Course Description:

At the core of the ACA Adaptive Program, Adaptive Paddling Workshops (APWs) provide the information necessary to seamlessly integrate individuals with physical disabilities into outdoor recreation programs in the context of paddlesports.

ACA Instructors in any paddling discipline can earn the Adaptive Paddling Instructor Endorsement.  ACA Instructors can also receive a one-time Update for Instructor Certification maintenance.

For kayakers with physical disabilities (and those interested in becoming kayakers), the final day of this APW (Tuesday, April 25) offers a perfect opportunity to learn from experts about adaptive paddlesport outfitting, risk assessment and management, and techniques to paddle comfortably, safely, and with a high level of performance.  To participate for free during the final day of this APW please Register Here.
