At the core of the ACA Adaptive Paddling Program, Adaptive Paddling Workshops (APWs) provide the information necessary to seamlessly integrate individuals with physical disabilities into outdoor recreation programs in the context of paddlesports. ACA Certified Instructors can earn the Adaptive Paddling Endorsement. Other paddlers who are not yet Instructors can earn an ACA Certificate of Completion. However, basic pre-existing paddling skills will be necessary to pass the course.
For anyone with a physical disability who is interested in becoming a paddler, the final day of this APW offers a perfect opportunity to learn from experts about how to modify equipment and techniques to paddle kayaks comfortably, safely, and with a high level of independence and performance. To participate for free during the final day of this APW please email Wes Hall at email@example.com
Instructors who want to register as an Endorsement Candidate for the workshop please send an email to Joe@AEOutdoors.org or call Joe at (843) 637-7269.
Registration will close on December 20, 2021 or when the workshop fills to capacity.
