Join us for a 2.5 to 3 hour paddle through the blackwater swamp of the Wambaw Wilderness Area.
Prior to registering for this tour, all participants must have successfully demonstrated a kayak wet-exit (getting out of a capsized boat) and a kayak re-entry (assisted rescue back into the boat) in either one of our regularly scheduled (and free) paddlesport pool sessions, a swimming and aquatic safety session, or in a past Adaptive Paddling Workshop.
Tour is free for anyone with a physical disability and $50 for all others. All participants must register.
We will meet at 9:00am at Mt. Pleasant Starbucks (1824 N Hwy 17 Mt Pleasant, SC 29464). At 9:10am we will carpool and caravan to the landing (about a 1 hour drive). Plan to be back to the Starbucks around 3-4pm.
