Join Adaptive Expeditions for a North Charleston wheelchair tennis clinic. Starting May 2017, AE will start running tennis clinics once a month at the Danny Jones Tennis Center in North Charleston.
Free and open to everyone with a physical disability of any kind. To level the competition, everyone is encouraged to play in sport wheelchairs.
After the clinic, we will meet for a cookout and drinks on Chris Murphy’s back deck on James Island – overlooking the marsh and river. Chris’ house and back deck are wheelchair accessible. A map will be provided at the tennis clinic.
The next day we plan to meet up for Adaptive Cycling – Charlestown Landing. (Separate registration).
Everyone needs to register and complete a waiver only once per year. Your seasonal registration will cover both clinics and team events. After you have registered for the season, you can simply show up to any of the tennis program events. However, please know that we will need at least 24-hour notice before each clinic or event if you need to borrow a tennis wheelchair. Simply send us an email.
