Looking for an awesome excuse to visit Charleston, SC at the perfect time of year? Adaptive Expeditions hopes to give you a weekend plan that you just cannot ignore!

On Friday, October 27, AE is hosting a Wheelchair Tennis Clinic followed by a Creekside Social & Dinner to celebrate the athletes participating in the 2017 James Island Connector Race (JICR).  AE is coordinating outreach and recruitment for a new hancycling division of the JICR as well as the pushrim wheelchair racing division.  The JICR has both 5k and 10k options for both divisions.   Athletes can register for the adaptive sports divisions of the race through the Creekside Social & Dinner Eventbrite page.

After the JICR race is over at 11:30am, there will be an afterparty.  Then from 3:00pm – 5:30pm, AE will rendezvous with all the adaptive sports participants at Colonial Lake for an adaptive fishing clinic.  The fishing clinic will target Redfish, and the skills and techniques covered will be awesome preparation for the 2018 Chuchtown Redfish Roundup (click here to read about the 2017 Chucktown Redfish Roundup.) (2018 CRR dates to be announced soon)

You can register for any or all of these events.  We’re just trying togive you a great reason to visit Charleston for the JICR weekend.
